Why Choose TIR LED Pods? Standard reflector optics allows light to escape before it touches the reflector.

This resulted from a decrease in light output and performance. Instead, the total internal reflection (TIR) optics can capture all the light from the LED chip and direct it to where it wants to be. TIR optics improve light output and control of lights over the reflector topics.

With TIR optics, you get ultra-high-output and high-efficiency lighting. Based on the working principle of TIR optic, lights are more controllable. The light output from the TIR optics is more focused and sharper than the standard reflector optics, and it dramatically reduces glare. We tested two different types of LED pod lights. One is the reflector, and the other one is the Lasfit TIR LED pod.

With the benefits of TIR optics, even in a lower wattage, the Lasfit LED pod can provide superior visibility and outperforms the reflector pod lights in every way. Four types of the output beam pattern and two colors (white and yellow).

Spot: See Long Distance: Spot Lights produce a more focused beam of light that can travel far ahead of the vehicle. These types of lights are extremely bright but illuminate a smaller area, as the light beam is not a spread out as other types of lighting. These SAE fog lights provide a very wide beam with a flat horizontal cut-off, allowing no light above the cut-off horizon, and lit the area in front of your vehicle. The perfect range of great visibility will help you cut through the night.

SAE Driving: SAE driving is commonly used as a supplement to the high beams. It effectively improves the view range with 6000K color temperature and produces a rectangular-shaped beam that can reach further and broader than the headlights. Additionally, SAE driving can be used for general illumilation. SAE Standard ONLY applies to Fog and Driving patterns in White color. Yellow fog/driving pods have the same output standard with the white ones designed for on&off road use, with little possibility to blind others on the road.

1 Actually, Lasfit LED bulbs can work well on most vehicles and the they won't need any warning canceler parts. 2 For some models of Dodge, Ram, Jeep, and Chrysler, they will need an the anti-flicker resistor/ warning canceler to avoid the compatibility issue. Do I need any modification? 1 For most vehicles, Lasfit LED bulbs could offer a plug and play installation.

2 For factory H1, H3 and HID bulbs, some modifications will be needed, but it's easy to make it work. 3 We also have custom design led bulbs (Pro series) which can custom fit your vehicle without modification. A: Special bulb holder may be required. See if you can take the holder from the stock bulb.

If not, let us know. The bulb size may be wrong, double check the item you received with the item you ordered. Do you have an aftermarket lighting housing? These may not be perfectly fitted for aftermarket bulbs and will require some manual modifications. Q11: Neither side lighting up? Both sides flicker, flash, or work inconsistantly. A: Check the headlight fuses, and then check the ballast plugs to insure correct installation. If this doesn't work, there may be a voltage problem with the vehicle. You probably just need a relay or capacitor. Unlike halogen bulbs, LED are polarity sensitive. BEFORE you start your LED kit installation, verify the polarity on your vehicle by simply plugging the LED bulb into your vehicle socket. If your light turns on, please proceed to install both bulbs onto your vehicle. If your light DOES NOT turn on, disconnect the bulb and flip the socket in order to reverse the polarity (this will not damage your vehicle electrical system in any way). Once you made sure the LED bulb turns on, please proceed to install both bulbs onto your vehicle. Note: There is no convention when it comes to polarity.

Different car manufactures have different polarity setup, even within the car model the polarity setup on your low beams and high beams might be different.
